In the years that have followed, he has overseen the technical transformation of the entire Tandet Group of companies. He combines a strong business and operational knowledge with a diversified technology skill set spanning development, analytics and communications. Tandet’s “Connected Cab” project was recognized as a finalist at both the 2017 Ingenious Awards, which celebrates excellence in the use of information and communication technology, as well as the 2017 Canadian Digital Transformation Awards. A Canadian CIO of the Year nominee, he is a frequent moderator and guest speaker.

Director of Data Science – Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning – ISAAC Instruments
Rahat Yasir is Director of Data Science – AI/ML at ISAAC. He leads all initiatives for building a data-driven and AI-powered transportation industry. He was selected as Canada’s top 30 software developer under 30 in 2018. He is a nine-time Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Award holder in the Artificial Intelligence category. He has over 10 years of experience in imaging and data analysis application development and enterprise-level data analytics and AI system designing. He is the author of multiple software engineering books and several research publications in the data science domain.
