ISAAC Instruments is happy to announce its solution is among the very first to integrate version 10.9 of CoPilot® Truck navigation developed by ALK Technologies. Among the features in version 10.9, CoPilot® offers improved navigation and makes it easier for drivers to read the maps on their mobile tablets.

This version also provides smarter, more fluid, optimal itineraries, eliminating the stress of detours and lost time. Its new interface displays full-screen maps to make it easier to read street names. Roads and accesses that are off-limits to heavy vehicles are highlighted in contrasting colors. The color-coded system also helps users tell the difference between the route to the first stop and the route to later destinations.

ISAAC is continuously innovating to help carriers increase their productivity through improvements to either our solution or its integrated systems. We are always on the lookout for updates from our partners to integrate them rapidly. We are delighted to be among the first on the market to offer CoPilot® Truck version 10.9 to our users, knowing how this update will enhance their efficiency.

The new version now includes Canadian postal codes, making it easier to search for Canadian destinations by address. It also provides more accurate estimated arrival times, since it takes a number of factors into account. Visual and vocal GPS instructions have been simplified to handle more types of situations: complex turns and intersections, traffic, changes to traffic patterns, etc.
